Call penalties, but pussy shit doesn't cut it in the playoffs. You have to make a point of making the other team hate playing against you, or you aren't going to win. That's not jungle hockey, that's playoff hockey. You can't win by with pure speed and finesse in the playoffs because other teams have those things too. If you can't slow them down and frustrate them while they can slow you down and frustrate you, then you're boned.SilverEagle wrote:So you prefer jungle hockey and throwing out the rule book. Hey cross checks for everybody! You're an idiot.
A big reason why you're Pens are facing a Game 7 right now, they ran into a team that's almost as fast, but they can play hard-nosed hockey when they need to slow down the Pens, and the Pens can't do the same without blocking shots and shutting down the breakout like they did in the first two games. This series has been all Caps since Game 3, ever since the Caps got physical and finally started getting their breakout going. The TSN turning point in the series may have been the Crosby hit, but that is far from the only reason this one has turned against the Pens heading into Game 7.
