Hillary's only power at this point is her leverage she gets from the implied threat of exposing people who helped her. It's how she got away with these crimes for so long. Lots of people were complicit, and they have to keep going along with it or get exposed. But that's also only a risk to people who do now have power that were complicit.

He's basically the most popular man in America right now (highest approval rating). He's shown interest in running against Trump. If the election were held right now, he'd crush Trump.

Whether he'd be a good president.. that's another matter. We are so far down the road towards shit hole status now that I doubt it really makes any difference. We might as well have fun with it until the replacements start killing us.
