Re: Russia! Russia!! Russia!!!
I haven't heard how Trump stands on the Russian sanctions, but the news is spinning it that Trump is against the Sanctions as drafted by Congress.
It appears Congress is forcing Trump to uphold Sanctions on Russia. Is this the most balls Congress has shown against the POTUS since they forced McKinley into the Spanish American War ?

They are reporting that Trump will sign the additional sanctions.
Anyway, there's such a majority in both houses that he simply cannot veto it. And what would Trump gain with a futile veto-attempt? 5-D Chess?
Putin already went on now with the tit-for-tat that he didn't do when Obama sent home Russian diplomats and took over one summer residence. Yep, those times Putin still believed that Trump could do something.

Trump now signed the additional sanctions grinding his teeth. And no comment from Trump about Putin's action, of course.
But Trump administration is different from Trump, as it has been for a while. Good 'Ol Pence saying it just like a true Republican leader:
[quote]"At this very moment, Russia continues to seek to redraw international borders by force, undermine democracy in sovereign nations, and divide the free nations of Europe, one against another," Pence said at a press conference, alluding to the Russian annexation of Crimea.
"Under President Donald Trump, the United States of America rejects any attempt to use force, threats, intimidation, or malign influence in the Baltic states or against any of our treaty allies."
Speaking alongside presidents of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, Pence sought to assure the Baltic leaders that the US would not be intimidated by Putin's announcement Sunday that US missions would be stripped of 755 staff members and two properties. There are around 1,200 staff members working at these missions, though it is not clear how many are US citizens.
"To be clear, we hope for better days, for better relations with Russia, but recent diplomatic action taken by Moscow will not deter the commitment of the United States of America to our security, the security of our allies, and the security of freedom loving nations around the world," he said.
Go Pence!

I'm fine with Congress forcing Trump on these Sanctions. I'm not huge on the Sanctions, but I'm digging a Congress with balls even if I think their a little whacked.
I'm really loving seeing a contentious Congress with the POTUS, this is checks and balances. If we can get rid of more Deep State Congressional leadership we'd be better off................. any chance Glioblastoma is communicable ?

Special Counsel Mueller Impanels Washington Grand Jury in Russia Probe
https://www.wsj.com/articles/special-co ... 1501788287
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington to investigate Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections, a sign that his inquiry is growing in intensity and entering a new phase, according to people familiar with the matter.
The grand jury, which began its work in recent weeks, is a sign that Mr. Mueller’s inquiry is ramping up and that it will likely continue for months. Mr. Mueller is investigating Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 election and whether President Donald Trump’s campaign or associates colluded with the Kremlin as part of that effort.
Thomas Zeno, a federal prosecutor for 29 years before becoming a lawyer at the Squire Patton Boggs law firm, said the grand jury is “confirmation that this is a very vigorous investigation going on.” “This doesn’t mean he is going to bring charges,” Mr. Zeno cautioned. “But it shows he is very serious. He wouldn’t do this if it were winding down.”

It will be for obstruction charges, to further malign the president.
Hey, when you make powerful enemies...
TBH, the readouts which were leaked are lower tier banter. Less than I would hope for.
Don't know if making white men feel unable to control the system is a good thing though.

Nah, it's going to be for some money issue or regulatory issue before he was POTUS. Fucking didn't have enough Porto Potties on a jobsite for transgender basque separatist necrophilliacs or something.
