As I told my wife when she was fat "Put down the fork and slowly walk away from the food."

She is now over 150 lbs lighter, and can't finish half a plate she could have two years ago...

I changed her diet from what her family was giving her, to a balanced meal and severe portion control, and got her to exercise and in a year's time, she lost 150 lbs... she literally weighs almost half what she did.

Sometimes people have to tell others they are a fucking fat slob and they need to take care of themselves before they kill themselves, and we got to flip the bill to save their asses while doing so...

The truth hurts sometimes.

There is a reason people are trying to do fat acceptance now... I'll tell you the truth, those people are fucking lazy shits and disgusting... want to fix it, put down the 64 Ounce diet soda you got with your McFat meal and don't tell me you are trying to lose weight.

It's not as easy for women. They don't have as much muscle to burn additional calories. They also get metabolic damage really easily. Their bodies will actually fight them when they try to lose weight. Men generally just need to up protein intake while running a slight calorie deficit, and increase lifting frequency at the gym. Surplus calories can be burned off with a little cardio when needed.

When she was depressed about her weight, and complained about it, but didn't do anything to solve the issue herself, I went into a mode I did when I was in high school. You sometimes need someone else to help you get out of your own way, if you can't seem to understand that, then that is your fault, not mine.

My wife after losing all that weight was able to have our son, after trying for almost 5 years, you tell me if it was worth it or not? She'd say yes.

This whole thing makes me very sad. But I will say this, I understand how the mistake was made.

Guy was warned not to reach again and he reached. Cop gave confusing directions and fucked up too, but I agree with the jury it wasn't murder.

I can say personally that on my first deployment if it wasn't for my experienced NCOs I would have shot some innocent people. It wasn't until I became experienced I was stopping others from shooting innocent people.

That department clearly has a major cultural issue that needs to be fixed.
