Shooter was put on Diazapam a couple months ago ....can cause suicidal actions
Room service records show 2 people in the room.
Eye witnesses say definitely shooters on the ground, keeping people in the kill zone......some video seems to show that.
Room appears to be set up to broadcast.

Some people that were monitoring the scanner have been posting on /pol/ that there was all kinds of shooting activity. That's not necessarily strange in and of itself, as it's hard to figure out what's going on on the ground for dispatch but the reports are so conflicting it doesn't make much sense. Perhaps an easy explanation, if what the posters are saying is true, is that this was more of a coordinated hit and there were disinformation agents calling in fake reports.

The owner of Chicago Jewish deli ignited controversy on Monday for posting a tweet in which he mocked the Las Vegas shooting victims for being white.

“Soon as I heard it was country music, I felt relief. White people shooting white people isn’t terror … it’s community outreach. #LasVegas,” he wrote on his personal account on Twitter Monday morning.

The co-owner of Max’s Deli, located in the Highland Park northern suburb, Morelli later apologized in a phone conversation with the Chicago Tribune. “It was a dumb joke and it didn’t work. I own it. It was stupid,” he said.

“I have a Jewish deli, I am a Jewish man,” he told the Tribune then. “I am the first person that’s going to get a brick through the window if this plague is not stopped immediately.”

Far from what the firearms-illiterate media claims, these are not systems that any Joe off the street can just pick up and use to effortlessly mow down 500 people. Running these systems requires extensive training, experience and stamina. It is physically impossible for a guy like Stephen Paddock to operate such a system in the sustained, effective manner that we witnessed, especially when shooting from an elevated position which throws off all the ranging of the weapon system.

Far from being a Navy Seal, Stephen Paddock is a retired accountant senior citizen with a gambling problem and a flabby physique. The only way he could have carried out this shooting is if he were transformed into a human superweapon through a magic wand. I’m calling this “Mission IMPOSSIBLE” because of the physical impossibility of a retired, untrained senior citizen pulling this off.

Bump-stocks transform fatties into Rambo instantly I suppose.

Bumpstocks were originally designed for people who had disabilities, it allowed to "recock" the gun as it fires. Giving people with the inability to physically do so the ability to shoot the gun. This was never meant to be used the way it was.

Bumpstocks are quite finicky, they don't always work, hence why they were not overly popular and part of the normal conversation till now.

Also, an elevated position really doesn't throw off the "ranging" of a system, if anything it simplifies it by allowing gravity to be utilized to the shooter's advantage. Physics, in this case, is an amazing thing... Also, shooting "full auto" is what makes it harder to shoot, not height.

And with practice, any person can become good at something. As it was pointed out, he was retired, he had plenty of time to practice.
