The NorCal won't work because the 530, 916, and most of the 707 area codes don't want to be tethered to the lunatic Bay Area.Speaker to Animals wrote:NorCal: More faggots up here.

I'd be down with the Southern California split because despite LA having the port all of the logistics and most of the manufacturing are in Riverside and San Berdoo counties
"California" could go fuck itself and it would be fine

They have 75 lane highways in LA and there is always a traffic jam. It can get pretty nasty.C-Mag wrote:Eight of 10 Most Polluted Cities in the USA Are in California

It's a bad plan because it doesn't really solved the idealogical issues. Only breaks them up into 3 states with issues. California said it in his post. Why in the held do they think NorCal wants the Bay Area, the Fucking hate the Bay Area up in Plumas and Alturas and Yreka. Same with the Central Valley, they really don't want to be tied to either LA or the Bay. Eastern CA is the only proposed one that has a chance, but it's poorly done too.Speaker to Animals wrote:NorCal: More faggots up here.

The Free State of Jefferson is the best first move along these lines.

NY Times: California Supreme Court Deals Major Blow To Gig Economy Business Model, Treats Workers As Employees Rather Than Independent Contractors
In a ruling with potentially sweeping consequences for the so-called gig economy, the California Supreme Court on Monday made it much more difficult for companies to classify workers as independent contractors rather than employees.
The decision could eventually require companies like Uber, many of which are based in California, to follow minimum-wage and overtime laws and to pay workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance and payroll taxes, potentially upending their business models.
Industry executives have estimated that classifying drivers and other gig workers as employees tends to cost 20 to 30 percent more than classifying them as contractors. It also brings benefits that can offset these costs, though, like the ability to control schedules and the manner of work. ...

California, keeping the poor, poor - and importing extra foreign poor just to make sure no one can leave the plantation.
