I do believe Lefty's are trying to 'Katrina' Trump............. don't you ? 92% of the coverage of Trump has been negative. Why would anyone doubt they trying to make Trump look bad.

Now, as to whether or not the Mayor is withholding. As I stated, it's a report. It is yet to be seen. This mayor was making Anti-Trump statements within 48 hours of the election in 2016. Would she withhold supplies from her own people, maybe.

When you do these types of operations, you come into the affected area, go to the local government and ask, what do you need. They will tell you. Then you get it to the local government. It is not unheard of for local officials to hoard, steal or sell supplies items intended for the people they are supposed to be representing.

I'm sorry, that sounds more like paranoia. It's not based on fact. However, going on emotion, I can't stand Trump but I certainly wouldn't withhold aid from my town to make him look bad. (I didn't withhold aid from Christie.) Christie took aid from Obama for his state. Everyone takes aid from every administration during a crisis. There is no factual or ethical basis to make that kind of acusation. I don't think Bush deliberately screwed over NOLA either.

Diverting or hoarding supplies does happen, but again, you are ascribing evil and widespread motives when you have no factual or even reasonable basis to accuse this woman. If it's just about what could have happened, one could just as easily posit that Trump had someone make that call for vengeance.

It is not paranoia to believe this Mayor wants to make the POTUS look bad, and yes I have proof. The San Juan mayor accused FEMA and President Trump of offering her no help. Now, she said this in front of a pallets and pallets of US aid.

Then, we have FEMA director pointing out that Caren Yuliz Cruz Soto has been repeatedly invited to be part of the Command team for the relief effort, but won't participate. A fellow mayor said this,

“I don’t know why she is saying that. What I can tell you is my experience. She is not participating in any meetings and we had a couple already with the governors and with representation of FEMA and of HUD, of these whole federal agencies that have given us help and she’s not participating "

While she doesn't have time to participate with coordination meetings on Federal Relief efforts, she does have time to get hats and T shirts made so she can grand stand.

I'm actually impressed with the amount of aid FEMA has been able to get to PR so quickly. Especially concerning 4 of our 6 main ports in the region are dealing with serious hurricane damage. And I don't care for FEMA, but impressed the same

Yeah, things are really bad there. Not to mention that we are still finding out what the interior looks like since pretty much everything is still in the dark, roads need to be clear, running clean drinking water needs to be back up, etc....

Edit:

I forgot to mention that a lot of places are probably still flooded and/or need to be cleaned up (because again flood waters are dirty as hell and only God knows what kind of bacteria and/or other things are floating around in that mess). Either way, Trump actually does need to act on this because ( an act of God or not) this will be on him.
