That's why Trump and Faux News are so fucking pissed. Compliance was bought and paid for; this aggression will not stand, man.
It wasn't just a meme, you know. The federal government actually bought and paid for military recruiting advertising from the NFL and thereby from the NFLPA.

Comparing the NFL to any type of private business is getting more and more strained by the moment.

This time you caught me when I wasn't sipping my Coke Zero, so it didn't shoot out my nose when you called a Marine a soldier.
We bought up all the bottles of zero we could find when we realized they killed it and went with zero sugar.

It's like coke 2 all over again. Store manager down the road says sales are way down.
But Coke 2 was a different formula. These two I can't tell the difference. It's just a branding change.
Blasphemy... you can tell the difference if you drink coke. Also, you can tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi.

Thursday night game should be interesting:
http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/ ... c940c59237

I hope they scan the entire crowd. I'm really not sure how many will join them in linking arms as opposed to placing their hand on heart during the anthem.

The message has already been lost. So now this is all about unity, huh? Unity is everyone standing and facing the flag during the anthem. we don't need some new show of unity, you image-conscious, brand-protecting, cover-your-asses quarterback. Now they are all trying to find some way to appease all sides while not committing to any. They all want to protect their own brands at this point.

I don't care how many media types and sports talk ex-players try and spin this. The general public isn't buying it. We all know that anything other than standing and facing the flag is a sign of disrespect. We have all told you this. You can't sit, stand, hide, or whatever else and claim it's not being disrespectful. You don't get to make that the reality.

If you want to help race relations, then stop being as divisive as Trump. Do something positive. Kneeling just makes you look subservient. Locking arms doesn't fix sh*t. The anthem is not the time to protest. We are not against you on the issues, we are against your method of protest. I was so happy last night to see every single person in attendance stand and honor the flag during our anthem prior to a high school sporting event I was at. Most even sang long, louder than usual (likely in response to the latest kneeling trend).

Sorry for the continual rants, but every time I hear about a new entertainer coming out with anything other than "we should stand and honor the anthem" I get fired up again.

The more that's uncovered about LT Lenin the deeper the shit he's in. Looks like he's in violation of Article 88 of the UCMJ. Which moves this into Court Martial status.
Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
A few gems from Lt Lenin's Twitter
Rapone said of Pence
Holy s*** what world do these people live in? “Mediocre and conservative?” Pence is a fucking medieval, cold-blooded killer.”
Rapone said of Mattis
Definitely the most vile, evil fuck in the current administration

Like I said, they're dismantling the protest by 'mainstreaming' it. Now, it'll be done just because it's hip, the meaning will die, and it'll go away by next year.
