The Russians can't threaten to stop the F-35s from crossing the Atlantic, even with tankers, so that doesn't matter.

The F-15X can't fly deep into Russian airspace without getting shot down, neither can the F-22 or the F-35, and the Russians can't fly into the Atlantic to shoot down the tankers, without getting shot down themselves.

Therefore the tankers are not anywhere near as vulnerable as you think they are. Stop this tankers are sitting ducks argument, America is aware that they are an easy target unprotected and unsupported, but they can move other assets to protect them, which makes them not sitting ducks.

The tankers aren't going to disappear like you claim, so your hypothetical about what would happen if they did, irrelevant.


You cannot back up your assertion that every last one of them will be shot down, or even most of them, or even a decent portion of them. You just keep saying it's true, with no explanation, I provided the explanation as to why that wouldn't be the case, and all you got is "you're wrong Capps" with no explanation as to why that is the case.
