They might do just that, that would be a quintessential Hockey Gods twist right there, that's for sure.

He is a Captain Canada, he punched his ticket at the Worlds last year, he wears the mark of the beast, and is of the old school through and through, may the Hockey Gods smile upon him. <genuflects>

Pekka Rinne is hot as all get out,
The production and defending by the back end is just straight up impressive,
Ryan Ellis and PK Subban in particular are playing the best playoff hockey that I've ever seen them play,
Their top forwards are producing,
Everyone is contributing,
Right now they seem like the healthiest team with the freshest legs in the playoffs,
They are undefeated on home ice so far, at a time when away teams are winning more games so far this playoffs than home teams.

That's a recipe for a Stanley Cup right there, they just need to keep it up, but that is no guarantee, the hockey gods are indeed fickle and cruel, so don't get too cocky yet Fife, long way to go.

That's what the Hockey Gods like to hear. Don't know if will be enough to keep them on your side for the remainder of the playoffs, but that's the right attitude and you're helping your teams cause. Unlike some people who practically begged the hockey gods to smite them and got what they deserved.

The Hockey Gods were just evening things up, Crosby didn't get suspended for chopping Methot's finger off, so turn around is fair play, the Hockey Gods might not have even punished SilverEagleFaggot for his cocky chirps yet, they might let him get all the way to the finals again, and then drop that jinx back on him, never know, best not to tempt the Hockey Gods, either way.

Yeah now is the time to shit on Ovechkin, because that was the first game of the series he actually didn't show up in. That imaginary high stick was total bullshit and ruined the end of the game, while Fleury stole that game by standing on his head. Gotta love that shot blocking too.

Did you know that I once heard that Ovechkin's dream was to deliver pizzas?
Alex Ovechkin has delivered on ice for more than a decade with the Washington Capitals. On Friday, the Capitals captain was able to live out a so-called childhood dream with a different kind of delivery: Pizza.

According to this ad for Papa John’s pizza, Ovechkin’s wish as a little kid in Russia was to become “the best pizza delivery boy in the world.”

And the now-31-year-old Ovechkin got to fulfill that “wish” by delivering pizza and astonished smiles to unsuspecting families in the Washington area. And yes, it was the best:

I thin your Rangers will win that series. You guys have the better club. I'm rooting for you to knock off another Canadian team.
