Fuck you, you hate quality sports. The best against the best is what it's all about, or should be. Fuck this global engagement nonsense. There is no big international tournament to crown the best national team in the world, because idiots like you want to hijack the world cup
I can't tell if this is serious, but it's about entertainment and also making money. What you find most entertaining is not what the people in charge and, I think, the majority of fans find most entertaining.

Tournaments don't really determine the best anyway. If you wanted to do that, you'd have some ongoing round robbin deal with computers analyzing the results. That would be a blast.

I sympathize somewhat, because I'm a baseball fan and the regular season really is a pretty rigorous test of the teams. Then they have a slightly weighted coin tossing contest to crown the champion. It's a little frustrating, but it's entertaining too.

Nah, you can just let the best teams in, and not subsidize shitty teams because their region needs to bring a certain number of teams, to be inclusive of all regions of the world, even if they suck at soccer. That doesn't make the tournament better, your imagination being unable to come up with a better system the current setup, that is your fault, it's not hard to imagine a better system, that result in better quality tournament, a monkey could do it.

The rules for qualifying isn't about entertainment, money, or sports, it's about politics, that's the problem. It's about what FIFA thinks is best for itself, not what's best for the World Cup or Soccer. Hell they are undermining their profits by leaving Italy out, and you know it, don't give me that shit it's all about money and entertainment, it's not in the case of why the rules for World Cup Qualification are what they are. Letting the nations that are already into soccer, get into the tournament, that is more profitable than letting nations who aren't into soccer qualify so that hopefully they'll like soccer in the future, nah son, you milk the cash cows you don't create rules that can make it so they don't qualify even if they do way better in qualification then other teams who did qualify.

That makes no sense unless you are snorting Humanitarian Pixie Dust, which FIFA clearly is, and heavily. The best against the best leads to the most entertaining soccer, that way the underdog spot can shine on more deserving teams, instead of teams with absolutely no chance of winning. So the cinderella effect is still in play, you don't need shit teams to make a tournament more enjoyable, that doesn't work.

A monkey could structure the tournament to satisfy you, that's true. So they could, but chose not to.

I don't think most people agree. It's a spectacle. It's entertainment. They aren't going to sperg out because the 14th best European team didn't get in even though they are better than the 6th best NA team or whatever. You act like the top team is being kicked out for being too white or somethign.

OMG, what if the 2 best teams are in the NFC, shouldn't they play in the Super Bowl instead of an inferior AFC team?

Again, the best thing for you would be an ongoing round robin with the results analyzed by computers that then rank the teams. I don't think it would be very popular, but maybe it would.

That's alot better than the way FIFA does it, and you know it.

When it comes to the best teams making the tournament:
Qualifying for the NFL playoffs > Qualifying for the World Cup
By light years.

That sounds pretty shitty idea for World Cup Qualification, because the computer they would use would likely suck, but still better than the current way FIFA does it.

Did you hear Rogan's theory about Jon Jones' failed test?

He thinks that he was partying it up and doing blow on his birthday which was a couple weeks before the flight. The coke was cut with cheap creatine powder from China, and since cheap creatine powder has illegal steroids in it, that's why he was clean right up until that time

To get away from the dive fest that is the World cup, the biggest rivalry in international sport re-starts a week tomorrow.
The ashes is a five test (match) series between England and Australia with each test lasting up to 5 days.
The ashes trophy is a mere 6 inches tall and is said to contain the ashes of a burnt bail (the wooden bar which sits on top of the wicket.

Started in 1882 and competed for every two years the current score is England 32 wins, Australia 32 wins and 5 draws.

It's decider time. Australia has the advantage of playing at home which means they can prepare the pitch to suit their bowlers or batsmen. In the result of a drawn series the trophy will be retained by the current holders England.

Jon Jones is clearly a coke addict, so if he's pissing positive because of something in the coke, or because of something he's taking to reduce a side effect of being a coke addict, like knock off viagra for instance, yeah that's not shocking. Jon Jones will continue to self sabotage himself, and do copious amounts of coke to fuel the process, it's what he does. Dude really needs to get a driver, that would also solve a lot of his legal issues.
