They are the same thing.
Religion may mask itself as the way to save the soul and avoid eternal damnation but all it really is is a way to control the masses.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

A non-religious political position allows for alternatives and opposition. A religion seeks to convert all in order to realize some destiny.

A political party tries to convert all to its ideology in order to realise it's destiny.
Don't like one political ideology, convert to another or opt out altogether.

Nothing more libertarian than God’s decision to give us free will.

You just think that way because you confuse your religion with politics.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:44 amThe same.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:27 amNegative.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:10 amThey are the same thing.

So do you. Ergo there is no practical difference between a political or religious ideology.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:03 amYou just think that way because you confuse your religion with politics.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:44 amThe same.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:27 am
