Re: Responsibility
I'm not really into gender segregation... or apartheid.
I think men and women can work well in teams... but don't always.
I think male virtues and female virtues can work synergistically... and are not confined to either gender... but certainly specialized in by their matching gender.
I guess these two males on our forum have had experiences where the male and female virtues were in conflict and went unresolved.
Informed guesswork perhaps, but only guesswork.

My guess is that you have worked in your private office for so long that you don't really experience what it is like to work in a corporate environment today. It's pretty fucking awful. See the latest Google class action lawsuit for example.

Married people are partners, but they are not equal, just as you and I are not equal.DrYouth wrote:I'm not really into gender segregation... or apartheid.

I work in multidisciplinary collaborative teams.
I work mostly with women.... mental health care is a largely female dominated area these days.
I have little trouble working with women... although there have certainly been struggles with certain individual females... I have also had great collaborations.
But I do crave more male companionship in the workplace.
Many of my fellow psychiatrists are male... but psychiatrists are dicks for the most part.

Women compete poorly in the dominance hierarchy so they change the rules. Modern societal norms have become those of women: Safe Spaces, #metoo, SJWs

Unlike MilSpecs, I accept that you are my superior in some things. We are male, that's how we do it.DrYouth wrote:Well I'm glad you acknowledge my superiority.Martin Hash wrote:.... just as you and I are not equal.

Yep.
I hear you Marty...
I think MillSpecs is not beholden to this dichotomy though...
Otherwise she wouldn't still be here on the forum would she...
It's not exactly a "safe space".

Re: Responsibility
Can’t think of two sources I’d trust less than StA and Martin Hash when it comes to women.
Maybe Ike Turner.
Maybe.
Maybe Ike Turner.
Maybe.
