I have used them to rehabilitate all the problems in my muscular system. They are pretty amazing. I am on a cycle right now, matter of fact.

Everybody equates PEDs with steroids, but a lot of them are actually pretty damned good for people. You obviously don't want to take them all the time, but they will help you recover from injuries and they can get a disabled guy out of the bed and back to work, so.. people need to lighten up a little.
Ain't nothing wrong with steroids for adult males. So "everybody" needs to lighten up the steroid tip as well.

Depends on a lot of factors, dude. For a man in his mid-thirties and up.. not so sure. Steroids will bind to your prostate, for instance, and can cause you some serious health problems. If you want to do it, that's your call. I don't judge. I don't think they are nearly as big a deal as people make out. Just do it knowing what you are getting into. It's actually kind of tricky to do it right.

I think it can be pretty safe most of the time if you do it right (and at a safe dose), but you need a lot of other drugs to go with it. It would be better if we could just go to a doctor and the drugs administered under supervision.

Steroid abuse is the problem, not proper use. Endocrinologists are expensive, and if you are knowledgeable enough yourself somehow, well bloodwork ain't cheap either.

I concur. But people are too busy being hysterical about steroids, so we can't have nice things.

I agree it's the abuse that is the problem. But I also think we should be able to go a general practice doctor to do this. If something goes wrong, he can admit you to the hospital or get you to a specialist. You shouldn't need to go to a specialist for any of this. It should be fairly affordable. Steroids are not expensive, really. Neither is testosterone or the aromotase inhibitors. You also need a drug to jump start your natural testosterone production when you finish a cycle. I have not done a cycle before, so I am not expert, but I doubt it is quite as straightforward as you seem to think. You need to understand that you are completely shutting down your hormonal system here. That really should involve a doctor.

What makes you think I think it's straightforward, or that I don't understand that?

You are talking like we should be able to go to Walgreens and buy these drugs OTC. I don't agree with that. I think they should be widely available, but a doctor should administer them and monitor you. Maybe weekly visits for about two months. If you cannot afford that, then you have other things to worry about anyway.

Maybe 8-12 doctor visits with blood tests every three to four weeks. I would ask somebody like DrY how best to administer such a thing, but it's probably not a good idea to do it to yourself when you are not a trained doctor -- and I say that as somebody who does experiment with PEDs in general. If you still want to do a cycle, then by all means. I am not going to judge your or stop you. You most likely will figure it out and nothing will go wrong. It's just a risk you should be aware of.

I'm not talking like that.
Legalize and regulate, not ban, that's my PED position.
Widely accessible with proper doctor supervision, totally with that.

Winter Olympics doping isn’t so much about steroids. Except in explosive sports like bobsled. The problem is with blood doping and EPO.

I bet cognitive enhancers offer good advantages there. My old friend Modofinil would be great.
