Yeah, but if it hits, you're insta-retired. That's a chance worth taking.
Why does this all feel eerily similar to the Dot Com Bubble...
All depends on the timing. :)

What's your company actually do, TC?
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Because it has to do with a lot of hope and expectations.

We provide a new way for education for professionals. Long story short. it can either be a 3 hr class to a 2-week class a few hours a day depending on the scale of things. All and all though, it basically allows professionals to learn not only how to work together, but also to allow people who normally wouldn't shine because of work-place dichotomy to do so by showing hidden skills and talents that people actually have.

I took one of the classes, and I was one of the best negotiators there, even though I prefer to be in IT, and in the background.

We also do classes on teaching people like lawyers, and of the same educational skillsets on how to be human, and not outright douches.

TC. From your prospective where would you put Low Middle Class, Middle Class, Upper Middle Class in terms of Gross H.H. Wages? Anybody else is free to answer as well. Also tell us what region/State you're talking about.

In Mass, that is a loaded question, because if you go by political answers, the upper class is anyone making over $100K a year... in reality though... I've been through all three... and I'm striving to be back up to the high end of the spectrum before my son reaches five. (Even if it means I have to compensate my income through my writing). 94K words, and just shy of 260 pages, for those who are counting.

Here is my breakdown of H.H. Gross Income for Middle Class for Mass. The reason is simple, 1/2 of said income if with a family will go to supporting the family, the other half will go to retirement, etc...

Low-Middle Class: 60K - 90K
Middle-Middle Class: 100K - 150K
Upper-Middle Class: 160K - 200K

I'd also put another form there as well, "Borderline Middle/Upper Class" because there is that group of people that make a lot of money compared to the "Middle Class" but not enough really to be in the "Silver Spoon" groups.

"Glass Wall" Middle Class - 210 - 250K.

Now, mind you this is for Mass only, because if you go by living wages, etc... the median wage for Mass is $56,410. That is not enough to live in Boston, The Median Wage for Boston is 78K.

So for me, I would say that dab in the middle would be the start of the Low-Middle Class for Mass. Which means that the majority of Mass is not middle class anymore, which seems about right out of what I have seen living around here for 40+ years now.

That makes perfect sense.

For North East Ohio I would say

Low-Middle Class: $50k - $85k
Middle-Class: $86k - $135k
Upper-Middle Class: $136k - $200K

With those ranges we're solidly in the Upper-Middle Class.

My county's on the 10 richest list, so average here is high at approximately $103,000. That's median, though, so it doesn't have a lot of meaning as far as it takes retirees, kids, etc., into account. It is difficult to live a middle class lifestyle here on less than $150,000 (if you have kids) unless you bought a house a long time ago and have refinanced with a low interest rate. Most homes pay $10,000 or more in yearly property taxes. Cost of living is very high here in general.

Taxes for a House here is between 3k to 15k for “average” houses depending on where you live.

Cambridge MA is more akin to your standard of living. Houses there cost between 600k to 2million on average. But travel 30 miles and you can get the same house for ½ the cost.

I've never been but it's on my list to visit. Is it anything like Andover/North Andover? That is a pretty town.

$600,000 would buy a beautiful house here, but the taxes would be $20,000 a year.
