I welcome the Electoral Vote challenge. There is little else I can imagine which would justify an armed uprising more than striping the small states of this nation of what little representation we have.

I envision a compromise with proportional votes. Each district gets to send it's own collective vote, rather than the state winner-take-all votes we have now.

If a state goes 65/35, then one candidate should get 65% of the votes and the other, 35%. That way each district truly has a voice.

All the states were united, except for those "true blue" states like CA, NY, and other states to a lesser degree were primarily Democrat strongholds inside the vast majority red state. Most of CA and NY went red, but the cities were blue so they went to the Democrats instead.

It would be awesome. Democrats would not win another presidential election. They only win because they maintain a majority in the large cities, effectively disenfranchising the sizable minority of Republican voters there. Back in the 2000s, I think I remember an estimate in the twenty percentile of Chicago area voters who would vote GOP. Most don't even bother voting because the electoral college means their votes don't matter. Imagine what would happen in a popular vote election where those votes actually do matter.

It amuses me that democrats like you still don't realize this and push for your own political destruction.
