Dude, this whole thing is their own fuck up. They wanted North Korea to be the boogie man, and now North Korea went and demonstrated a fusion bomb that probably is modeled after that Russian EMP bomb. They created the real thing.

There's no multi-billion dollar MIC gadget that stops one of those. It's all for naught. They want North Korea to be a threat "over there" and to justify spending on aircraft carriers and stealth aircraft. Instead, what they got, was a credible threat to all of CONUS (because they fucked up) and talk of diverting funds to harden our infrastructure -- which is a lot of money they won't be getting.

Lockheed Martin bought Leidos Holdings Inc, first contract they got was from the Air Force Research Labratory for next generation EMP hardening, there's all sorts of MIC into EMP hardening, there's Leader Tech in Tampa Florida, MAJR Products in Saegertown Pennsylvania, and the grandaddy of them all, Parker Chromerics in Woburn Connecticut.
