Are there no allies among Democrats in your area or state that you could work with, both long-and short term, to organize some sort of Liberal(ist) pushback among Democrats in... your state's Oregon, right?Martin Hash wrote:I received an email from the CCDCC (Clark County Democrats Campaign Committee) that significantly narrowed the options of Democrats, at least locally where I live. I'm a Democrat, in fact, I have been a State Democratic candidate, and will be again. However, I am unclear when Democrats adopted "ensuring a progressive future" as part of the Party Platform. If someone there could help point me to this plank, I would like to review what that means for me since progressivism in the modern sense is Collectivism, and not all Democrats are Progressives, for example, I'm a Liberal.

I'm trying to rally them. Unfortunately, not many OWG Democrats left.BjornP wrote:Are there no allies among Democrats in your area or state that you could work with, both long-and short term, to organize some sort of Liberal(ist) pushback among Democrats in... your state's Oregon, right?Martin Hash wrote:I received an email from the CCDCC (Clark County Democrats Campaign Committee) that significantly narrowed the options of Democrats, at least locally where I live. We'll definitely be gulaging the purveyors of scorn & ridicule. I've got your IP, I think we can track you down from there.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Now's the time, Martin. You wanna be famous?Martin Hash wrote:I'm trying to rally them. Unfortunately, not many OWG Democrats left.BjornP wrote:

I'm not making fun, I'm semi-serious. I see an opportunity for the newly-dubbed DINOs (liberals) to separate from the big D, and merge with the Libertarians being blocked out of the big R. Perhaps attract a number of RINOs as well.Martin Hash wrote:We'll definitely be gulaging the purveyors of scorn & ridicule. It's a lot cheaper to ban me from the forum than hiring a hitman to stop someone from giving you a great idea.Martin Hash wrote:Dude, it won't be me.GrumpyCatFace wrote:You can't do shit with an IP address I'll send you my physical address, if you want. Come and get me.
Stop being a douche, and think about it. You wanted a Big Idea, and this is a good one. You want to be recognized as a genius, this would do it.

Libertarians are democrats who object to the official party economic policy. They already aligned with the party. Did you not even pay attention last year? The entire LP was organized to hurt Trump and help Clinton.

Yes, both major parties are (obviously) not actually fiscal or social conservatives. Come up with some kind of branding, and pull the splinter groups together, into an alliance. It's going to happen anyway, but maybe Marty can jump in front of it.Speaker to Animals wrote:Libertarians are democrats who object to the official party economic policy. Assuming, of course, that he's not on trial for soliciting murder
