I did not like Clinton, Bush, Obama.... but I didn't feel like any of them didn't like the country as much as they liked their ego. For them, the ego boost seems like a great perk, more than the actual goal.
For Trump, though, it doesn't smell that way. He's very much in this for himself, and not for any value he brings to the country.
I still am willing and able to be proven wrong, but I'm not seeing it yet. I see a petty, small-minded, vengeful narcissist running my country, and it's frightening. I hope I'm wrong and I will be delighted if I get to come here and mea culpa.... I still hope that might happen, except for the part where every single day there's at least two things that come from this administration that make me realize he's flying blind.
Prediction: Trump will be saying something along the lines of, "who knew that brokering Middle East peace was going to be so complicated?"
