South Africa will amend its laws to allow expropriation of land without compensation for owners as it tries to speed up the redistribution of land to its black majority, President Jacob Zuma said on Friday.

Expropriation without compensation would mark a radical policy departure for Zuma's ruling African National Congress (ANC), shifting from a willing buyer-willing seller approach to more radical alternatives.

Most of South Africa's land remains in white hands over two decades after the end of apartheid.

"We need to take bold steps that will transform our economy, including land ownership, very fast," Zuma said in a speech outlining agricultural policy.

"We are busy amending (laws) to enable faster land reform, including land expropriation without compensation as provided for in the constitution."

Zuma referred a bill allowing state expropriation of land back to parliament last week because lawmakers failed to facilitate adequate public participation.

That bill enabled the state to acquire land without the owners' consent by paying an amount determined by the office of the Valuer-General.

Analysts say the ruling party's new, more hardline approach is in response to calls for the seizure of white-owned land by the opposition Economic Freedom Fighters party. It is also a way to shore up support in the ANC's rural political base ahead of internal party elections in December.

During last nights discussion I reference Dear White People, Bill Nye, and the "Suicide Is All Mean White Peoples Fault" show as examples of Netflix promoting obvious SJW values. She's like haven't seen any of those shows, how do you know what their about? My response was I watched the most ludicrous dance video on youtube from a "scientist" and what else do you need to see besides the title of Dear White People.

Her response was "but its about Ivy League Whites"...

That's not what's happening here. What happens here is that the bankruptcy of civic nationalism is laid bare, and the people who still cling to it desperately try to convince the rest of us to stop talking about it.

Literally nobody here framed this conversation on the legitimacy of reparations. Not even you have done so.

Civic nationalism was a great idea, but alas, the other races have shown they don't to any great degree agree with it. We have to face the facts here.

This #DearWhitePeople garbage does not just represent an ideology. If that were the case, you wouldn't see it around the world, in totally different contexts, but with the same racial groups.

Likewise, I'd argue civic nationalism is as much a racial predisposition of ours as an idea or governing concept. From what I can gather, it's primarily promulgated by white nations (now to our detriment), with some Asian outliers. Maybe it would be possible if we had favored more Chinese immigration? I don't really know. What I do know is that you are deluding yourself if you believe the majority of the black and Latino races don't think this way. You won't somehow reason them out of it either. When whites become a minority, it's going to go badly for us.

She is Mensa level IQ, college professor and the youngest individual to graduate with a PHD from the University KY in her field of study.

That said, she is from the heart of Appalachia and never had the need or desire to question much other than what the weather is going to be like.
