Don't get excited yet, with the Leafs, no lead is safe, they could go up 6-0, and still lose 6-7. Nice hustle mind you, Washington looks a little nervous, that's what the Leafs have to do to have any chance, play loose, and hope that as they just refuse to go away, Washington gets tighter and tighter.

Washington's problem right now, is that they are overdoing it, they're trying to win the series in the first period, they just need to calm down and take their time, at which point, then we'll see if the Leafs can stay loose, under a structured attack, because that's the Leafs big weakness.

Washington is just flying around in a fury, but they keep turning the puck over and giving up odd man rushes and missing assignments, when they calm down, that's when the Leafs will need to weather the storm, the organized storm is more dangerous than the disorganized one.

Don't know wtf Holtby was thinking on that one. The Caps have started about as bad Smitty could have hoped for, so far so good. We'll see if they can hold up if Caps can get settled.

Then they go down two men and seem determined to piss the lead away. Lulz, the Loafs. Figured it would be Williams to get the Caps going too.

So much for Brian Boyle and his "great playoff experience", takes a dumb penalty and hands the momentum right back to the Caps. Like I say, no lead is safe.

It's more a case of Washington just getting in their own way right now, the Leafs aren't embarassing themselves by any means, they are getting some zone time, they are looking OK offensively, but they're still all over the place in their own end, when Washington stops getting in its own way, the Leafs are going to have to keep scoring, they're not going to win a defensive slugfest, two goals ain't getting it done.

Classic Freddie Andersen, gets beat high glove side, been doing that all year long, they talk about Andersen like he's the Leafs "MVP", but in reality he keeps letting them down, just seems to choke in overtime and shootouts, more of the same. If he could stop a beachball in overtime, the Leafs would have finished in first place.

Where y'all foos at?

I'm out watching on the TV with my crew, waiting on my time next week to see this stuff in person.

I heard somewhere even the Leafs are putting on a show tonight.

 what the hell happened to my Hawks?? Sloppy, sluggish play. Nobody lined up for a pass, weak checking... they look like shit.

Boyle with the dirty back pass knowing the defender had no stick, making up for that dumb penalty from last game. Good shit.
