I don't blame Republicans - remember I don't do the partisan thing. That said, it's simply not true that inner cities exist solely because of Democrats. Concentrated poverty came into being over many years and for many reasons.clubgop wrote:Figures blames the closest elected Republican. The soft bigotry of low expectations. The left doesnt see a problem in the inner cities because they are in charge for decades. What more could you ask for? Electoral College then , electoral college now, electoral college forever.

You find it impossible to believe some people want the country to prosper more than their own club? At some point you outgrow the frat. A pox on both their houses.clubgop wrote:Sure you don't.mydogjesse wrote:I don't blame Republicans - remember I don't do the partisan thing. Agreed that Democrats have made the inner cities part of their machine. Republicans have done the same with rural poverty. Both parties suck in this regard, as in so many others. At this point I'm hoping that Trump pulls off a miracle and breaks the parties' stranglehold, and doesn't give us something worse in the process. His success in that regard is more important than either party, and that should hold true for all of us.

The difference is rural poverty happens on it's own. Running a major metropolis into the ground takes work.mydogjesse wrote:You find it impossible to believe some people want the country to prosper more than their own club? Not on it's own at all. Economic and political forces pushed them into poverty as well.Okeefenokee wrote:

Being horizontally removed from the nexuses of commerce is what causes poverty in rural areas. Being run by Democrats is what causes poverty in communities which are adjacent to nexuses of commerce.mydogjesse wrote:Not on it's own at all. No, I'm not. Poverty in rural areas is directly tied to being removed from a nexus of economic activity. Economic activities occur in urban markets. Being removed from those markets reduces economic options. Living inside the radius of urban markets and still being poor is a result of policies in those cities.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Correlation does not equa- fuck it. Dying of dehydration in space is a result of being too far removed from the water on earth. Dying of dehydration in Flint is a result of the policies in Flint.
