No way Apple would let that fly. These are kernel/firmware level attacks, you would have to rewrite the OS to get them out. Not to call you out too hard TC, but I am skeptical. Not that it isn't possible, but it would take some incredible knowledge, and would probably get overwritten (at least the firmware portion) every time Apple updated their firmware. Even if you avoided that somehow, Apple would never support your devices, and no enterprise is going to use unpatchable/unsupportable devices. Plus I am sure it would violate EULAs. Better off building a Linux distro yourself, but again, no business is going to use a Linux distro one guy created.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Well, I know I can't do it. Well, if you start writing custom Mac firmware, you could probably sell it and make millions... There's a lot of people out there sick of being spied on.

Of course you can write firmware for Mac hardware. It's just PowerPC architecture. It's not some secret.

Yeah, because I would have grilled you to an inch of your life for that comment... Apple hasn't used PPC chips since 2006...Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:This post was a whole lot funnier when it said PowerPoint.Speaker to Animals wrote:Of course you can write firmware for Mac hardware. Oh, so it's Intel now? Lol. Anybody can write firmware for those faggot computers.
Why should I keep up with what goes on in that authoritarian faggotry world of Apple anyway?

Hence why I said what I did... and also the reason is because more companies are starting to use them (Including IBM)... so for me, choose your poison, either way, it's a serious breach of edicate and ethics on the CIA's part if this is true.Speaker to Animals wrote:Oh, so it's Intel now? I also found out how they did it... through a Thunderbolt dongle, which connects to a modified ethernet adapter. If this is true, this could easily have been used by Homeland Security when it came to the TSA... and they'd be none the wiser... which isn't hard to believe since they fail almost all security checks as is.
