I will make an argument against the empty posturing which is nothing more than vacuous virtue signaling at its worst: Bjorn didn't post anything substantive. His post read like a hipster complaining about all the people at the scene who listen to music the hipster thinks is crappy, but of course the hipster listens to only the latest, best music that nobody heard of before (since if everybody heard of it, he'd move on). Bjorn offered no position on anything other than that he is this enlightened one who is superior to the rabble who take sides in the culture war. You chimed in with a "me too! I am one of the smart ones too!"

People have grown to absolutely despise this kind of virtue signaling behavior.
