The poll isn't about rudeness, it's about whether Kath's actions should cause Martin Hash to lose faith in her as moderator. If you think me being rude is why she has more people who don't think her actions warrant her being fired by Hash just yet, that is a fairly odd assumption.

Rudeness is not more important than improper moderation and censorship, be real.

Capps is a serial off topic poster and didn't respond to reasonable requests to cease and desist.

I would offer that trolling threads with off topic posts that go on for a dozen pages is an attempt to stifle conversation of the topic. If someone makes one small on-topic post in the middle of the spam, it's going to be hard for someone to find that post.

I would offer that trolling threads with off topic posts that go on for a dozen pages is an attempt to stifle conversation of the topic. If someone makes one small on-topic post in the middle of the spam, it's going to be hard for someone to find that post.

Nope, according to what Martin told me he apologised to him for harassing me and he has stopped his 2 year campaign of cyberstalking since. We are now able to have conversations without him resorting to such measures. Win win for the forum.

Imagine a large room with tables where people gather to have conversations. Over in the far corner, four people are attempting to have a conversation about their kids. In come Smitts & Capps, busting their way to the table, to start talking over everyone about hockey.

No big deal, the four people just get up and move to another table, so that can carry on their conversation. Does that work? Nope - Smitts & Capps move right along with the four people and insist on talking about hockey.

So, four people say, "Hey, we're going to that room over there and we're going to close the door so we can have that conversation."
