Every woman of my generation I know is what I would consider an alcoholic at worst, heavy drinker at best.

They never go a day without a drink, can't do any activities without adding wine, have no real hobbies besides drinking, and have massive mood problems due to withdrawal symptoms. Add to the fact that half of them will take Xanax or Adderall like candy if given the choice

Hell, I was at Disney California Adventure yesterday waiting in the beer line for Mickey pretzels and I was the only man in line. I also was the only person who didn't order a drink.

Maybe I just look down on it more because I'm pretty much a teetotaler at this point

Your wife? Not trying to be a dick but calling out a whole generation of women just begs the question. Me? I know a lot of guys that were ridiculous heavy drinkers and now they don't at all and most dont miss it. Many of the women I know are pretty steady drinkers not heavy.

Well, having a baby isn't the safest thing for a woman either, especially if she's older.

These days it's the other way around. Just having the baby is safer for them than abortion. Mortality rates from pregnancy have been lowered substantially.

I'll grant you, I expect those stats to worsen again as this dark age, or whatever you want to label it, continues to dawn on the western world. Eventually there will come a day when we all look back on the comforts and advances enjoyed in our youth with envy and puzzlement as to why we cannot continue to enjoy them.

Now that you are clean and steering away from the degeneration, it's going to be all the more apparent to you. You will start to really see just how far they have fallen. It's very difficult to find decent women any longer. I'd imagine from their perspective, it's difficult to find men who are not compromised by unattractive beta quality imposed on them by feminist indoctrination in government schools and universities as well. I just don't understand why people bring up automobile fatalities when it comes to gun regulation, unless they are recommending a federal regulatory and licensing apparatus with reach into every state's gun laws.

Unless you are a gang member in Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York, guns are not a problem for you in America. If a person's true motivation was to reduce suffering and extend lives, they wouldn't be wasting energy on something that doesn't make the top ten list for shit that affects people's lives.

When you call them out for being clearly wrong in where they should be focusing their attention, if their goal is actually to increase well being and make people safer, they never, ever, not in a million years, adjust their course and target something that is actually a credible threat risk. They stay right on guns, because that's the issue in the first place.

Look, cancer is the number two killer in the nation, and when have you seen cry baby kimmel (someone come up with a better nickname for him) weeping on stage over cigarettes? Fucking never, and you never will, because it ain't about health and safety.

These are the same people promoting obesity as the new definition of beauty, when heart disease is the number one killer in the nation. They don't care about health and safety. They're after control, and you with a gun presents a problem.

Barring people that seek mental health help from owning guns would be creating an enormous stigma and disincentive. I hope we can at least start there instead of taking an action that will make people avoid shrinks even more.

Some folks with mental illnesses should obviously be disqualified from having access to firearms though, so it's a fine line to walk on that one, not sure that I know exactly where to draw that line, but the answer certainly isn't either extreme, all or none, that much is obvious.

In the 1980s, our parents used to let us play on the floor of the van with our legos and toys without even a seatbelt.

Or in the back of a pickup and just have us bounce around as we hit potholes, we'd hold onto each other just so we didn't fall out. Our dogs would be back there as well sliding as we stopped with the rest of us. We had a blast growing up.
