I’ve lost all faith in the morons that inhabit this land.

it's like you say you wish there was an army to fight for freedom

you said you'd like to be a Christian soldier in such an army

but such an army is never going to form from rage, despair, wallowing in misery

armies don't fight against things, they fight for things

the only way you're going to get an army to fight, is to lead them from the light

we didn't run the morale down, we fostered the morale

we didn't allow the troops to wallow in misery, we might have been tough, but we were always positive

people in America are beaten down, you can't get them to fight for anything by beating them down more

this is why I say you have to go to SERE mode

because all you guys are is angry, so there is zero chance anybody us going to form ranks and fight

next best option is just save yourself, but don't talk of armies fighting when all you have to offer is rage

I still lurk in a couple of other forums that have turned so far left they make CNN look like right wing extremists.

A forum that will go on for pages about any tiny infraction they discover about any non-Democrat has 1 message posted about Cuomo's resignation. Basically states, he's out.......and how great it is that his replacement is a woman. Everyone else remains silent. The same ones that screeched for months about Kavanuagh without hard evidence are complicit for Cuomo with hard evidence.

These people have no morals. They screech about morals all day and night when it comes to anyone on the right, but when anyone on their "team" does something it's nothing more than silence. Never trust these people. They will literally stab you in the back the first chance they get if they think they can get away with it, and every day the getting away with it part becomes more likely. Reading boards like that make me realize there is no uniting as one nation.

it was honestly just like this in the 70's when I was growing up

it was the Hardhats vs the Hippies

the Woke were there, that started in the wake of the anti-Vietnam protests on campus

both sides hated each other with a passion, there was no middle ground

you could indeed get shot for saying the wrong thing to somebody down at the bar

the Weather Underground was going around planting bombs

the inner cities were descending into chaos & disorder

Serial Killers appeared for the first time

according to Church Committee the NSA had been spying on everybody since WWII

rising unemployment, runaway inflation, long line ups to get gas

Jimmy Carter went on television and called it a "Malaise"

the only real difference now is the internet

I remember the first time my daddy took me to New York City as a boy

that was quite the eye opener

Manhattan was indeed impressive, until we got north of Central Park

walking around Harlem I was thinking this looks like it has been bombed in the Blitz

I hadn't realized that Yankee Stadium was in the middle of the roughest ghetto in America

down in the Bowery, I saw bums lined up at the soup kitchen and huddled around a fire in an old oil drum

I said, dad, isn't that like the Great Depression ?

suffice to say, I preferred Los Angeles, hanging out pool side at grandparents house in Flintridge

I know California is a shit hole now, California has become like New York City in the 70's

but man it was nice back then

they just got more dolled up than Canadian girls

now, my father had been a cab driver in Los Angeles back in the 60's

so he knew it like the back of his hand

and he had no fear of going anywhere in LA

we cross over into South Central, and it was a whole nother world

guys coming up to the car trying to sell us oranges

helicopters flying over head, whup, whup, whup, it had that Vietnam sound to it

we could hear shots fired in the distance, sirens blaring, cop cars speeding around everywhere

it was like a war zone
