Actually, there was plenty of signs out there saying his son did it, and OJ took the fall for his son, but meh... who cares, if you got to go back that far to show an example, you may as well just hang up the attempts at proving a point while you are ahead.

It seems like the prosecution was pretty bad.

As for the whole "you're fucked" thing on the dust cover. That's not an indicator of the cop's guilt, but it is an indicator of the department's guilt in allowing unprofessional behavior to run rampant.

All of his colleagues that didn't rat him out for this should also be fired. When a cop can go around with that inscription on his rifle, without being stopped by his bosses or peers, the problem is way larger than this individual cop.
