Just because Trump is signing a bunch of executive orders out the gate doesn't mean he's taking power from the public, just the opposite he's giving it back by rolling back many of Obama's exec orders that took power from congress in the first place. You might want to wait until Trump starts overly expanding executive power with executive orders before you start criticizing his use of them, crying wolf will just lead to people not believing you if he actually does start doing so.
He's neutered the ACA - which was the result of a multi-year debate in congress, he's written an order to build a gigantic fucking wall - which had NOT been funded by congress, and he's frozen regulations and hiring for all government agencies - effectively usurping the authority of the entire federal government. In a week.

Nah it's fine tho cause feels good rite?

This may actually happen wether he wishes it or not.... hmmm but the house is fairly pro Trump. Now if it were up to the senate however.... well Lindsey Graham and McCain would have boots in Iran tmrw.
The US hasn't declared war since WW2 for a very good reason. It unlocks the use of nukes.

All those executive are good executive orders. ACA was getting scrapped anyway the order simply forces the congress to deal with it quicker, the wall's funding still needs approval from congress he just speed up the process, and freezing new regulations is just common sense when there are way too many regulations as it is. It's fine indeed, if this stuff upsets you then you need to get your priorities straight. You just reflexively hate Trump no matter what he does, even when he passes good executive orders.

The only truly objectionable thing he's done so far is continue this boondoggle of a wall. Yes, it gets Americans back to work, but that's ALL it does. What a huge freaking waste.-

Oh wait.... and the dick measuring contests are just plain silly. President Cry-Baby.

Some of these executive orders don't really say much; they are more like bigly press releases than actual orders to do something,
Account abandoned.

I'm fine with his stance on the wall thus far, the devil is in the details. Being President cry-baby is helping Trump, not hurting him, no matter distasteful you personally find his being a cry baby, you are projecting on others if you think it hurts him because you don't like it. Whining is one of Trump's most effective tactics, he's not going to stop because his political enemies aren't fans of it.

Exactly this. Is that the role of an executive action now, by the most powerful office on earth? To sound impressive?
How do we (the people) know when to take one seriously then? How do we debate the actions, if we're flooded with nonsense most of the time?

What's so bad about Canadian agriculture/food? Aside from some small differences in price corn, wheat, butter, pigs are the same. Isn't it?
Small difference? Supply managed Canadian food is twice the price as American equivalent, 100% mark up is not a small difference.

It's actually a 125% mark up, because the US dollar is $1.25 Canadian, and yet the American products are half the price, in Canadian dollars.

Who the fuck; wants to pay 125% more than the market rate? Not I, nor any Canadian I know.

It's just a tiny number of entrenched interests, who are gouging the rest of us to line their pockets, the patriotic thing to do; would be to have them all shot, because they are scamming the whole country, the poorest amongst us most of all.

Can I afford to pay twice as much? Sure, but a lot of people can't, a lot of people here seek out the cheaper American products, at the cheaper American stores, not because they ain't patriotic, but because that's the only way that they can feed their kids.

You know who the busiest retailers are where I'm from? Costco and Walmart. I love Costco and Walmart, not only do they bring the best deals, but they also force competition into the market, keeping everybody else from gouging us too, they make everybody's prices lower.

Hell, without Costco, gas prices would be 50% higher, the other gas stations actually raise their prices, after the gas station at Costco closes.

When I see Walmart cut a price on something, suddenly that something goes on sale at the other grocery stores to match that price, without the American competition, Canadian retailers would be gouging our eyes out.
