The Dems did win a couple of NH state house seats and they took majority of the chamber. They also won a State senate seat in NY that was also a longtime Republican stronghold. A lot of the places normally a Democrat shoupd even be in play but on the same hand they are spending more time and money in these places that they just can't bother with in a general.C-Mag wrote:Since November 8th, here's your scorecard

Georgia
Nebraska
Montana
DEM wins
Also: The Dems just posted their lowest fund raising in April since 2009.

From what I understand that is a central plank in the DNC platform under its current leadership.Smitty-48 wrote:Says who?kybkh wrote: You either admit that you are innately racist and privledged or you are a Nazi.

Congrats to Gianforte for the win, and props for owning up to his mistake.
It's an interesting situation to have in an election. 68% of the votes had already been cast before this incident occurred. I've always supported early voting, and mail-in ballots, but am now wondering if there should be a way to modify your ballot up until the polls close, or allow voters to vote in person to override their mail-in ballot...

There will be a lot of discussion about this in the future. And lets not obfuscate, most will come from the Dem/Liberal-Progressive side. They generally push the early voting, and in Dallas there is a huge scandal right now of proven fraud of early mail in ballots.adwinistrator wrote:Congrats to Gianforte for the win, and props for owning up to his mistake.

I think there are 2 big risks to early voting.
1. Fraud
2. People that would have voted differently on the official election day.
On point 2.
I voted for Barrack Obama, and now that I see what a failure Obamacare is, and how badly the country is managed, I want to go back and change my vote is, and I want to vote for Mittens. What's the real difference. You can get ballot regerts at any point.
