Partisan blubbering is irrelevant, popular vote is irrelevant too, all that matters is the electoral votes in three states, and the Democrat's position has not improved there at all, they can partisan blubber for the next four years, hystrerical as they wanna be, I'm not seeing the Blue Wall flipping back from the incumbent, after only a single election cycle, their next window of opportunity, is in 2024, and that's only if they actually come up with a leader and something to run on other than partisan blubbering, which, I wouldn't necessarily bank on, I wouldn't rule out a President Pence come 2024 even.

The Democrats are basically fucked, their coalition of Blue Cities vs. Red States, is dead in the water, if they don't make any headway outside their Blue City strongholds, which they are not, they are rather doubling down on that instead, and the net result is going to be the GOP in power for a long time indeed.

As people have pointed out on this forum, the democrats have managed to drive away potential allies in droves and seemed to have screwed themselves for the forseeable future. How do you think they will try to get them back? What would be the single best policy for them to take to regain more votes?

The problem with Obama was that he was short term gain for long term pain, he shifted the Democrats too far to the Left, and now they're kind of locked into it, they drove too many disctricts into the Red, and I don't see those districts coming back for Obama 2.0, nor Obama 3.0, nor anything even remotely Obama like, but the problem is, if they move off the Obamabots, then their Left flank comes apart too, the Democrats are really in a pickle, they need something radical to break out of the trap, and that something would have to be quite Right Wing in fact, basically JFK 2.0, and I'm not seeing one anywhere on the horizon at this point, right now, they're doubling down on Obama, which again, is a losers bet, been there, done that, the Blue Collars are not coming back for any more of that, that's a dead end now.
