I was reading some of his stuff a while back. He actually had some interesting ideas that he obviously took too far since he was crazy. But some of it was pretty accurate in hindsight. There are some interesting youtube videos on it as well.
I just find it funny that the FBI thought D&D players had enough motivation to do all that.

That guy from the Decline of the West podcast explains it in two videos:
The documentarians interview people connected with the Unabomber and they basically take Ted's side without endorsing violence.
