It makes me think they can't actually take on the Alt-Right. That's it what it looks like, anyway. Labeling easy targets as "Alt-Right" and attacking them instead of kind of silly.
I think the Alt-Right could be countered, but not on the issues that the progressives would want. The Alt-Right is correct about the white genocide. You have to attack their prescription as to what to do about it.
