I am not on all the other drugs he was on either. So.. Whatevs, man.
I get a test boost and endorphins every other day. Working out has almost completely cured me of my chronic pain (only trouble at night these days, outside of injuries).
Weed doesn't even score anywhere near that.
Of course, I tweaked my low back just doing a frog stand of all things.
I fucked it up pretty good. Lots of pain today. I don't think it's the lumbar. It's those muscles that stretch up from your hips and attach into your lower back. The low back pain is mostly referred pain from the hips.

Yep same. I went bowling for the first time in 10 years, and took a weird lunge at it in the first frame. Fucked my shit right up. I ended up lying on my back in the bowling alley for an hour in agony.Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:I threw mine out 2 weeks ago. It’s still sore.Speaker to Animals wrote:

I was crawling around the next day just to get to the bathroom. Getting old sucks a lot. But it healed, and I bowled 3 games the other night.

Every now and then I watch people doing the kettle bell workouts. The kettle bell appeals to me because it's small, portable, and can be used for lots of general muscle toning and whatnot.
But then I see those folks swinging the damn kettle bell between their legs and up to the sky and I'm like "Yeah, don't think my back would appreciate that one. Fuck kettle bells".

That’s the motion I use when throwing a “weight for height” in the Highland games. Very easy to fuck yourself up, if you don’t use your legs.DBTrek wrote:Every now and then I watch people doing the kettle bell workouts. KB swings are actually a good choice to strengthen your entire lateral chain, including the weak ass muscles in your hips and lower back that cause all these problems, as long as you swallow your pride and use an appropriate weight. Technique has to be solid. As soon as you get fatigued, stop. Don't do that shit like a fucking crossfit retard. When your form breaks down at anything, you should stop and move on to the next item on your training schedule or reduce the intensity.

Hips, shoulders, and neck are the last areas I need to rehab. I have bullet-proofed most everything else. Shoulders are coming along pretty well these days. Hips just didn't bother me enough to focus on them until now.
