I think they are reeling in a state of panic & disorder, at all levels, from the government to the troops

they are lashing out in a frenzy, from the tactical to the strategic level

but the only thing that will constrain them and contain the escalation, is Peace Through Strength

we are in the war, we are attacking them by proxy,

but it's on such a scale, that it is mauling them, they are a wounded animal

so we need to have hard power in their way as well, to block the path to escalation

all OSINT from inside Russia indicates that they are in shock

they were totally unprepared for the world's reaction to be so swift, total & ferocious

the Russian economy is in free fall, they are imploding

at first they didn't feel it, but the tsunami is hitting them now

the government in Russia is apparently in a panic, they don't know what to do

the thing to understand is that even tho the Russians have more troops in their army

they don't have the logistics to support more troops in the field

they are at maximum number of troops in Ukraine right now, in terms of what they can supply

and they can't even supply what they have there reliably

so they were totally unprepared for the war that they started

and they are trapped where they are now, with no exit strategy

this is the point in their manuals where it says to use WMD

this is where Russian doctrine resorts to chemical and tactical nuclear weapons

and if you think that would be irrational, I would say they are starting to act irrationally now

because Putin has absolute control,

and he is steadfastly refusing to change course based on his latest statements

they are getting themselves in deeper & deeper over their heads by the day

the Article V line is being crossed

NATO is crossing the Article V line, mission creeping into Ukraine

but on the trajectory of Russian escalation, that was inevitable

as I've said from the beginning, the idea that this war could go on in Ukraine

while NATO just ignored it behind some sort of notional Article V line, was naive to say the least

this is where America needs to step up, not to save Ukraine, to protect America

America needs to contain this, so that America doesn't end up back against a wall at short notice

this is where Putin's nuclear bluff has to be called, with the big stick
