Florida was the first state. Look it up. The rest of you assholes are along for the ride. We might even let you stay in the Union, but talking shit and making low info/bigoted posts isn't the way to get in our good graces...

Re: Connecticut
Eh. I don't think so.
The problem with democracy is that it eventually ends up being a plurality of non-payers voting to take from the payers. By payers I mean anybody who pays the costs of the outcome of the votes, whether that cost is paid monetarily or with spilled blood, or whatever else.
I think the only way to make democracy work is to limit votes to those who pay the costs. That was the original intent, but we drifted towards universal franchise, and it's a fucking whore trying to convince people that was a shitty idea because they are all emotionally invested in their vote.
Women in general don't pay the costs of war, but they are the majority of the electorate and don't mind electing warmongers as long as the warmongers promise women more gibs and privileges. Renters make up the majority of the Seattle electorate and they don't mind electing more city politicians who keep driving up property taxes.
You always end up with something like the democratic party who creates coalitions of identity blocs with the promise of taking from the rest of Americans. Always. Examples go all the way back to Marius, Clodius, and even some Athenian politicians. Then if they are soundly defeated politically, it turns into civil war eventually.

We demand that you educate our kids (even though we don't want to pay for it) and we demand that you teach them in our language. Pay up Whitey...
What kind of culture teaches people to bite the hand that feeds?

11-year-old Ambar Santiago-Rojas calls for bilingual teachers to teach Spanish, not just in Spanish.
• Scrap the historically inaccurate, racist, and Eurocentric pedagogy at the core of many schools’ curricula, even at those schools that are engaging in dual language immersion. Sarah Miller, the mother of two students at Columbus Academy, said that she was appalled when she heard Spanish-speaking elementary school students give a presentation during a Hispanic heritage pride ceremony about how Christopher Columbus discovered the New World. That presentation, though delivered in Spanish, included nothing about the genocide of native peoples in North and South America. She called for the school to update its curriculum to “build a bridge between the radical project of teaching in Spanish and the content [students] read.”

Re: Connecticut
I'd be fine with teaching Spanish genocide of native peoples if they also teach human sacrifice and sex trade that the native peoples practiced amongst them selves...

So one tribe killing all males and keeping all females as sex slaves is cool, as long as its minority on minority...
