But will you kill yourself if it turns out the DNC hack was literally carried about by a 400 lbs dude?

Because it was literally true.

Ssu, you're here on a forum so you're probably computer literate enough to know what a phishing email is. Podesta's email account was compromised by a phishing email that linked to a site that looked like Google, where he entered his password.

It was a method of gaining access to Podesta's emails that many people could have carried out. It didn't require particular expertise beyond making a site that looks like gmail and having Podesta's email address in order to send him the link.

Sure,

And why would the FBI go along with an idea that it would be the Russians? Why? Let's see, we don't know who did it... so let's make this an international scandal about it and blame the Russians.

And furthermore, why does Trump throw under the bus everybody that is linked to this? Smitty correctly pointed out that Flynn was put aside not in the fashion as usually it would be done.

Heck, I would have answered the democratic accusations simply by the fact that Russia has a long history of trying to meddle in the US elections, that the Soviets backed JFK and surely that President wasn't a pushover/appeaser for them later. And simply to say that Putin seems to hate Hillary, but let's go forward with the elections... Not trying to deny it after the intelligence services came out with the message that it was the Russians.

You would listen to experts who give you no reason to believe them other than "take our word for it, we're the experts, so if we say it's true then it must be". The rest of us aren't so naive.

And obviously not wanting to look at the other evidence:

- The position and other actions of the Russian government during the election
- the statements and actions of the Trump team with their pro-Russia stance early on.

without these things the hackings wouldn't be something so interesting.

With those things the hackings aren't something that's interesting. You only think it's interesting because the scapegoat is your Russian boogeyman. Those things don't warrant an investigation, what a laughable misuse of taxpayer funds you are suggesting just because you are overly suspicious about the Russians.

Believe or not, those actions and statements actually do matter. As I said, I did notice the small little detail that it was said that the Trump team change the GOP standing on Ukraine. Didn't become a big issue when it happened during (or immediately after) the convention. Now it's become a bigger issue.

Believe what you believe, but one thing is certain. This isn't going away... the only thing that could sideline it is a bigger scandal.
