The most consequential trade that Poile made, was not Subban for Weber, that actually made very little difference to either team, the big trade was Seth Jones for Ryan Johansen, that took big balls, trading Seth Jones away, but lo and behold, look at Columbus now, they have no replacement for Ryan Johansen, they ain't going far without a big horse down the middle neither, Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg down the middle, that's the thing that has made Nashville a contender, losing Johansen in the playoffs was a catastrophe, but they could have done without PK and never missed a beat.

You are right about Johansen for Jones trade, but Forsberg is a winger bro, further proof you dont know jack shit about the Preds. Always blaming the best players when the team comes up short is lazy scapegoating, if every player on the Preds played as well as PK Subban in that series, then the Preds would have won easily. Blaming the best players isn't always the answer, sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't, and in this case with the Preds, it wasn't their best players fault, aside from Rinne maybe, but his role in their losing is also overplayed, Johansen getting hurt before the finals is what really fucked them against the Pens.

Forsberg will be a Center, it's like Nylander, they start them on the wing in the NHL, but Forsberg is the 2C of the future, or perhaps the 1C and Johansen slides down.

Forsberg is a C/W, he can play all three positions, Kyle Turris is gonna be UFA, when Turris goes, Forsberg will replace him.
