Endex is "expected to be on Saturday", I don't have a timing for that. Probably in the morning tho, if they were going to Sunday morning, they'd say endex was Sunday. Probably going to church on Sunday tho, that's why endex is Saturday.Kath wrote:So, no more Saturday night or no more Sunday night?Smitty-48 wrote:I have my sources, let me know if it stops on Saturday, to verify.Kath wrote:I thought they didn't make details public.

160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment; they don't call them the Night Stalkers for nothing.Kath wrote:Ok - it's only at night, so I'll let you know.
They're doing low level approaches over realistic urban terrain for JSOC infil/exfil.
They need real terrain to fly over, to practice for the real thing, a military base doesn't provide what they need, in terms of obstacles and whatnot to practice against, buildings, towers, power lines, street lights, etc, they mix it up and fly to real world conditions.

I miss the sounds of the aircraft launching and recovering throughout the day. It actually helped me sleep when working swing shift.

Some Navy birds up there as well apparently, MH-60S. If it's dark grey it's Army, if it's light grey it's Navy.

I'm surprised that you Yanks are not more supportive of the troops, I mean, them boys is risking their lives up there, that dangerous flying, low level urban real world terrain, Kath should be out there flashing her tah-tahs to keep up the morale, they've got the thermal cameras, watch them come to a hover then, Blue Thunder drill.
