Why would anyone possibly care about that fact?

It's not just the people being accused that make this entertainment, it's also the reactions. Whether defending people that probably should not be defended or rabid witch hunts.

I'll say it again, it's all pretty much bullshit until the King of the Pervs gets ostracized and kicked to the curb.
Clinton?

He's been given a pass particularly by people who like his politics, but also a lot of people who don't care for his politics. If I was a boss and got a BJ on the job on company property from an intern.................. well, I'd be looking for work. But that was just the most mild of things that was probably pretty normal for Bill.
Based on what, exactly? He was accused of making a bunch of passes at women, and that’s about it, to my knowledge.

Oh, Bill has his own Wikipedia page just on Sexual Crimes, the Atlantic just put out a decent article on why it's time for Bill Clinton to pay for his crimes, which include rape. The author notes there is more credible evidence against Bill than against all accusations over the last 5 weeks.

The Juanita Brodderick case rings true to me. She volunteered for his campaign, then abruptly accused him of rape.

Always possible these people are crazy or paid off or whatever, but that's not going to be the most common case. And when it's many accusers, the odds get worse.

Not iron clad, as we saw with that Canadian DJ guy. That was a shocker. But the most likely explanation.

Latest is Jeffery Tambor, btw. Though what he is accused of is not as serious and his denial is firm.

 that’s like accusing a mafia boss of punching someone.

I agree.

How about Rolling Stone destroying a bunch of Lacrosse players lives over a false claim. That's a case that needs to be kept in mind with all this stuff.

Ron Jeremy dindu nuffin. He's not pro-rape. He's just radically pro-life.

I think Rolling Stone was the frat.

Lacrosse guys was just the media in general.

Both of those cases were based on the testimony of one witness. I didn't really pay attention to the Duke Lacrosse one, but the RS one had holes in it right off the bat. And it just sounded crazy on it's face. And it was exactly what certain people wish was true.

A lot of the time it's going to be a smell test, off the bat. Things like, is there money to be made?
