Texas has pride and it has an ego, but there isn't a Texas city that didn't throw a parade when Walmart came to town (and if you have a Sams Club within driving distance you own prime real estate.) We like it big cheap and full of gasoline or beef, and we do not care where it comes from.

Edit: Whatsmore, none of those cities except San Antonio, has much in the way of housing in the city limits to be a sanctuary. Houston is the size of a small fucking state. Its way easier for illegals to go live in Tomball or Taylor or Bastrop.

I lived in Bastrop for a decade. It was a one-horse town at the time. Did it make the map finally?

Its alright, mainly a pass through to other places still, but there's a lot of ag around there where illegals can get jobs and stay under the radar. The other locals are similar. I temped in Taylor for a bit (through a temp agency in Austin), and thing about temp work is the agencies never really check, they just file the paperwork and hire you out.

The US (and Russia) btw aren't the only ones. For example Israel uses dedicated internet participants to support the government policies and especially go after anti-Israeli (hence naturally anti-Semitic) opinions.

You vote the candidate you want, of course. Trump is no Manchurian Candidate, nor a puppet. And neither are the long list of parties that Russia has been favorable to. As I've said, Russia's foreign policy of trying to destabilize a) The Trans-Atlantic Partnership and b) the EU, just has been given a wonderfull opportunity as people are indeed fed up with the way things are. The Soviet Union was far too ideological in it's operations, present Russia isn't.
