Meanwhile in the ongoing U20 Hockey World Championship Sweden defeated Switzerland and now have a 50 game winning streak in the group stage of the tournament.
We're doing something right with talents.

Ilya Mikheyev out for three months, Kapanen moves up with Matthews and Nylander on the second line
Severed artery, shit.
Yeah, he's done for the season.

Leafs have plenty of depth at forward tho, the Big Four is the imperative, everybody else is interchangeable.

Kapanen can fill in for Mikheyev, somebody else can fill in for Kapanen.

The Core 7 is what will make or break them

C Tavares - C Matthews - RW Marner - RW Nylander - LD Rielly - RD Barrie - G Andersen.

LW Hyman & LD Muzzin are the only supporting cast members who can't be replaced; because of their grit.

In terms of the Leafs Five Year Rebuild, now in its fourth year, this was my projected top six line up;

Hyman - Tavares - Marner

Kapanen - Matthews - Nylander

So we've ended up where I projected them to be, one way or the other.

My wife just called from the ACC, she's in the Platinum Club VIP with her sister.

$8 for a bottle of Vitamin Water.

I'm getting warmed up here at home with a Christmas present whisky; Maker's Mark, no charge from Santa.

Oh shee-it, Muzzin is injured now, out week to week, that's gonna be a problem methinks.

Better drown me sorrows, pour another whisky.

2006 vintage Grahams for me.
A bit young really but a bargain price at £20 a bottle.
Cheap port is the best thing about Christmas, everyone is discounting for the saps who only drink it once a year.

Cheers...

Dermott and Ceci flailing about, goes right in the back of the net.

Same ol' same ol', this team can't stop coughing the puck up, farcically.
