Not a monopoly.

Here's something I'd like for you to read:

NO, EVERY BIG INTERNET COMPANY IS NOT A MONOPOLY

Not only is the internet NOT currently monopolized, it's becoming less and less dominated by single firms at a break-neck pace.

Logical, economic reality is the 180-degree-opposite of what you're being spoon-fed by the state and the trembling giant corps.

I have exactly 1 choice for cable internet provider, and 1 choice for DSL. Or I can get a stone-Age-slow satellite connection.

I guess that counts as “competition”, on some level, but it isn’t.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Net neutrality will do nothing to solve your problem.

Maybe not. But wthis thread has moved far beyond the upcoming vote in the FCC. We need to regulate the physical internet as a utility.

If you treat the physical Internet as a utility then net neutrality becomes a bad thing.

Because everywhere that does so, such as where I live, does not have an ISP monopoly.

It may not be technically a monopoly, but I have a choice between two options. Shitty provider A and shittier provider B.

Shittier provider B came to my door last week, wanting to tell me how they'd changed. "We've changed! We no longer suck! Switch to us!"

Here's me. buh bye
Account abandoned.
