This ‘nation’ has been made complete fools of by their government publicly for a generation now. Since Nixon, we’ve been manipulated and lied to in every conceivable way. Our political decisions can be predicted by que bono. We’ve abandoned any semblance of democracy, and serve at the feet of the megacorps.

Every single fucking one of our little hamlets has a selection of the same stores, and anything unique about them is slowly being destroyed. There is no family unit, because there are no family activities allowed, without corporate sponsorship. Everything that happens must be weighed against the interest of business. In my town, they’re about to ban anything other than vegetables from the weekly farmers market, to protect local grocery stores. (There aren’t any, other than megacorps, of course).

Yet every broadcast touts our amazing ‘freedoms’, as we watch the police state take over our society. Every sporting event features the Magic Flag Song, but nobody knows wtf we do it for. Every large public event has a military show of colors/equipment, lest we forget the mighty fucking MIC.

It’s not just sick people going off. Everyone is off now. It’s just the really sick ones that pop first.

1 - the chicken ban. Nobody is allowed to own chickens outside of a rural zone. This is insane. The state of Ohio took up the issue this year to reverse the ban, but our town and 1,000 others wrote a letter to protest it. Without consulting voters.

2 - the farm market. Some clown walks into the town council meeting a few weeks ago to protest that the farmers market blocks traffic and hurts sales ( it’s in a park, and doesn’t block anything).

So no chickens at all or a limit on chickens?

I thought you said the farmers market was exempt once a week now they are a target? Sounds like a busybody, I don't think the grocers care that much, produce has shit margins and is labor intensive. A weekly farmers market probably wouldn't even effect shrinkage.
