And I’m sure that’s not going to change, because you have no case to make.

In fact, your reductive and repetitive misdirection tactic was pretty obvious upon its second use, but it’s not like anyone had high expectations of you.

You’re right, just giving my opinion, like you, I didn’t jump down your throat first though, I’m just using proportionate response and all that.

I think the cows are doing just fine. We should worry more about humans.

If causing deafness in cows is acceptable on cultural grounds then maybe genital mutilation on cultural grounds is also acceptable or nobody else's business.
Maybe both practices are unacceptable and not belonging to said culture is no grounds for keeping quiet about it.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

We should worry more about humans but that doesn't mean caring about animal welfare is not a valid use of your time.
How do you feel about mistreatment of dogs in other countries?

I'm not going to lie, I would probably try cat meat if I went to Asia. I like dogs a lot though, so I'd probably pass on that. I'd feel guilty eating canine.

The crab industry is quite disturbing, but again that’s as fallacious as saying don’t argue for womens right to not be beaten because in Muslim countries women have their noses cut off. It’s not a zero sum game, one cause does not steal from another, rather they work off eachother’s momentum.

It sucks, but it's not my country.

I also have developed a great revulsion for people who immigrate to other countries and start complaining about those countries' cultures and demanding everybody accede to their demands. It's fucking disgusting. I'd deport the bitch even if I agreed with the eliminating the cowbells.

Now it’s like what, cultural genocide to beseech while in another country? You realize no one is forcing these cultures to do anything accept hear an outside opinion. If they change it is within their preexisting structures and with their own checks and balances.

I have no compunction about individuals or entire nations putting pressure on other nations that disregard the fundamental sovereignty of individuals. If cultural relativism were correct, then an individual’s rights are relative, so how much more so the nations that those individuals belong to? A culture cannot claim that they have the right to not be pressured while denying fundamental rights to their citizens, it’s an incoherent position.
