I find it hard to believe that there are this many "sugar daddies". I would assume there is a limited supply of sugar daddies and of young college educated would-be prostitutes.

This sort of thing is more common, during Gilded Age phases. The definition of "rich" is generally beyond common comprehension, at this point.

1% of 350m = 3 million x .5(men) = 1.5m possible 'sugar daddies' that could support dozens of women. This business model has huge potential.

I intentionally lumped the two in my paraphrase. I'm not sure who said that rough approximation first, or if my paraphrase is a fair representation.

However, I chose that wording because I do find that it is both morally and legally OK for a girl to throw me a piece, gratis. YMMV.
