Yeah, I'd be fine with that investigation........ Now here's the crazy, while W has ridden into the sunset, the guys and gals that ginned up the evidence are still around manipulating things. Here's Mueller convincing the UN and US to sign off on the invasion.Kath wrote:None of them can be touched. Where is the investigation on Bush Jr. leading us into war based on made-up facts? and they clearly have the media in there pocket as well. The entire media ran with it, and they still have the nerve in the present day to tell us what a paragon of virtue guys like Mueller are.

Oh ok I thought it was Collins or Murkowski but listen if this vote was decisive he would have folded. If he is President he will not veto a budget with tax cuts in it. He just won't.Fife wrote:One stands alone against the swamp.

At least we'll be able to say there was one Senator that stood for those things as the federal government crashes down around us.
Senate passes budget resolution, Rand Paul only GOP senator to vote "no"
“The American people are sick and tired of Congress spending recklessly with no end in sight. We can’t spend our way to prosperity. Today, the Senate considered a budget that simply didn’t measure up and spent too much. I will fight for the biggest, boldest tax cut we can pass, but I could not in good conscience vote for a budget that ignores spending caps that have been the law of the land for years and simply pretend it didn’t matter. We can be for lower taxes AND spending restraint.”
“This amendment will allow instructions so we could really do what we say we are going to do, which is cut spending. I think in light of the fact that we are for tax cuts, we ought to also be for reducing spending so we don't explode the debt,” Dr. Paul said when introducing the amendment.
“What I’m asking us to do is to be responsible, budget for this, stay within the caps that we have self-imposed on us, and actually act like we really believe in what we say, that the debt is a problem.”
“My amendment will provide budget reconciliation instructions so that Republican senators can fulfill their promise. So that they can actually repeal Obamacare root and branch, as they promised."
“My amendment provides budget reconciliation instructions to increase the tax cut to $2.5 trillion. If we are to believe this budget, it claims to save over $6 trillion over ten years - more than enough to go bigger, better, and bolder on cutting taxes."

In business, if you continue to make shitty decisions, you go bankrupt and peeps can come to your shop and pick over the leftovers at a 70% discount. Some other business owner who doesn't make shitty decisions comes along and takes the clientele. If it were true that businesses continued to stay in business while being so fiscally irresponsible, we'd never have a business failing.
Do you sell your drugs for less than you pay for them? Because that would be a truly shitty decision.
Owning a car is not a shitty decision and neither is buying a house. Also true - neither renting a house or car is a shitty decision. (Unless you buy them without the ability to pay for them, of course.)

If that could happen to government we wouldn't be having this conversation and businesses failing? What is this sorcery of which you speak? Bailouts, bailouts for all of them. As far as I can see.Kath wrote:NO. Just no.clubgop wrote:How long you've been adulting? And no I don't mean adult entertainment. Forget politics everyhing is that way. Buying an item that loses 20% of its value the moment you drive off the lot and only depriaties in value is a shitty decision. Signing a 30 year lease in which you are responsible for maintenance and repairs that will decrease with value if you don't sink money into it, is a shitty decision.Owning a car is not a shitty decision and neither is buying a house.

Let me know when the Federal government fails and stop bailing out failed business ventures. Like the post office.Kath wrote:I recognize all those words as English, but when put together in that order? Hmmm.clubgop wrote:
