Are rapid firing large magazine rifles really necessary to ensure the 2nd amendment or could you live without them and make this sort of massacre virtually impossible for a lone shooter to carry out.
And yet, more people die via cars than guns... and cars are "in theory" more regulated than guns... that shouldn't be so by even your logic.
Well how many of those car deaths are caused by drivers ignoring the regulations?
So? Doesn't that prove the uselessness of said reg., if they can be so freely ignored? What's the point?

Per hour of use. Try that statistic on for size.
Cool. Call up a bunch of gun ranges ask them when was the last time they had an accident. You will be disappointed.
If they have any customers putting in 10-20 hours a week, they’re already on a watchlist.
Citation needed and if that is the case then what is the problem?

Drunk driving. Driving while texting or otherwise distracted by electronic devices. Weaving in and out of traffic at 85mph in a 55 zone. People tailgating the guy in front of them (including 18wheelers and gardens).

Those are the ones I've seen.
So are the restrictions against drink driving and speeding a lack of Liberty because most people who drink drive or speed don't kill anyone?
No because drinking and driving is illegal no matter if I am driving a motorcycle, a semi, an SUV, or a smart car it is a regulation of behavior not the object try again.

They're certainly a good example of how regulations don't stop people from doing things. Kinda like how the gun regulations in Chicago don't seem very successful at stopping gun violence.

There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

Time to buy heavy oil, rags, PVC piping, end caps and PVC cement. Then dig some holes.

Yet you accept those driving restrictions as a public good. What would the death rates be if the restrictions didn't exist?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Yes, it is the price of Liberty. Remember our founders were OK with private citizens having Artillery and Battle Ships of their day, with enough firepower to level entire cities.

We ban guns, then we ban knives, then what ? I ask, because you are going through it.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4040279/s ... crackdown/
Well you aren't banning guns anytime soon. You could stop this happening again with a few well considered restrictions though.
Zombie knives? What legitimate reason does a young Brit have for carrying one of those about?

Yes, yes, tell me more about preventing mass casualties.................

Irrelevant, All deaths are because someone did something that the car was not meant to do.

Nice try. We had a AWB many states have an AWB, they don't do shit for crime rates. A small compact handgun is the number one killer, no getting around that. Try again.
