WTF? I thought he was gonna turn the brass into diamond in some kinda gigantic press. No, instead he makes a brass setting for a diamond! (it was brass right? I mean who would have a golden fucking 1/2" nut?) Sure, that's going to go over big as it turns green. Very strange indeed.

We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

Definitely, Monte is going to have to go over there and build them a trebuchet

Hopefully, I'll get to see one in action on Thursday.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Did I ever tell you guys about making a model treb out of K'nex with my son when he was like 6? We had lots of fun targeting the cats.

For anyone that wants to build a structure or wants to know how houses are built, Essential Craftsman has a series started walking you through the entire process, design, site prep, and footings to start. Plus small lessons on using basic tools.
Here's the first video in the series

I've got a soft spot for old Industrial buildings. The 19th century ones are the coolest, but later ones hace some appeal too, like this Brutalist era Winery. It's for sale in France and if I had Fuck you money I'd be tempted.

My office would be in the center at the top so I can look down on the plebs toiling at making me Vino.

My view would be awesome, and Monte could bring serve me tasty treats to go with my latest vintage
