I prefer to at least attempt to operate within the framework of historical facts. Libertarian socialism literally was "libertarianism" for generations before people on the right invented their own brand, probably in your own lifetime. Just because that allegedly right wing version now predominates in America does not somehow erase the historical record.

I just participated in the thread and talked about the historical facts. That upsets you. I get it.

Reality sucks when it contradicts your narrative. But it does contradict your narrative here.

I think political philosophy is an interesting topic. I like to discuss it. I happen to share many of your opinions of socialism. But I prefer to understand the thing I criticize.

Maybe try to understand socialism as they view it. Also consider sticking with historical facts even if they don't allow you to pigeon hole your opponent's ideologies into neat little boxes so you can straw man their arguments.
